I’m so excited you’re here.

California Poppy may look like me.. but it always has been, and always will be, us. The collective. The community. The common love shared between humans. California Poppy is made up of dreamers and doers. It’s the life force that nudges us out of bed in the morning, it’s the drive to go further and dig deeper. The reason we roll out our mats. The reason we lend a hand to strangers. California Poppy is the humanity shared amongst us. It’s the will to live a big, beautiful, abundant life. It’s the quest for goodness, creativity, and a life of robust health. It is an unwavering faith that we were meant for more.

So, what is a “California Poppy”? Well for starters, it is the state flower of California . It is a bright orange wildflower that favors the sun. In fact, the flower opens and closes in response to the radiance of the light. Nature’s little orange gem is build to withstand harsh environments and is known for its resilience and adaptability - an example of Mother Earth’s ingenuity. Throughout the years, the poppy’s golden glow has influenced artists and writers alike. Artists like Jack London have referenced her beauty. It is an integral part of Californias ecosystem - providing for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. It has been used medicinally for indigenous communities and is revered in native folklore, one legends saying, “When you see it, it is as if the sun itself is on the ground.” (herbs.org.nz) Spiritually, the flower represents strength, natural allure, and peace. All traits that we aim to embody; the flower reminds us of everything we have endured and for all the blessings that are yet to come.
